DIARIO DELLA VENDEMMIA HARVEST DIARY 2019 56 57 Voglio dedicare questa vendemmia a tutti i miei collaboratori. In primis Marrico che è con me dal 2007 ed è ormai un pilastro di Poggio al Tesoro. Posso definirlo un compagno di questo mio emozionante viaggio perché, oltre ad essere un valido aiuto, è una persona fidata sulla quale contare. Lorenzo è un enologo che ha un’ottima preparazione tecnica, un profondo senso di responsabilità ed una curiosità che lo spinge a desiderare sempre il meglio. È arrivato a Poggio al Tesoro subito dopo la vendemmia del 2011 fresco di laurea. L’ho visto crescere non solo maturando come enologo ma anche come persona. So che con lui Poggio al Tesoro è in buone mani. Mi accomuna ad entrambi un profondo senso del dovere e una curiosità che ci spingono a guardare sempre avanti, consapevoli che anche il più buon vino del mondo può sempre migliorare in virtù delle cure amorevoli in campagna ed in cantina. Grazie anche a Franco che, con il suo amore per la terra e per la vigna, mi ha insegnato un concetto che è insito anche nella mia persona e che implica non solo rispetto per la natura ma soprattutto per gli esseri umani in essa presenti. Egli esprime questo concetto con una sintesi molto efficace: approccio bio-etico al lavoro, una sintesi perfetta di quello che vogliamo essere nei confronti della terra e delle persone che lavorano con noi. A tutti dal profondo del cuore il grazie mio e della mia famiglia. È nostra radicata convinzione che siano proprio il gruppo ed il lavoro di squadra a risultare determinanti per il raggiungimento di obiettivi sempre più ambiziosi. La passione per il lavoro, un territorio unico ed un’Azienda innovativa, combinati ad un team unito ed affiatato, sono le chiavi del successo della meravigliosa avventura chiamata Poggio al Tesoro. I want to dedicate this harvest to all my collaborators. First of all to Marrico, who has been with me since 2007 and is now a pillar of Poggio al Tesoro. I can call him a companion on this exciting journey of mine because, apart from being very helpful, he is a person I can really count on. Lorenzo is a winemaker with excellent technical training, a profound sense of responsibility and a curiosity that always drives him to seek out the best. He arrived at Poggio al Tesoro immediately after harvest 2011, just after graduating. I have seen him grow not only as a winemaker but also as a person. I know that with him, Poggio al Tesoro is in good hands. We share a deep sense of duty and a curiosity that always pushes us to look forward, aware that even the best wine in the world can always be improved upon, thanks to the loving care lavished in the vineyards and in the winery. Thanks also to Franco who, with his love for the land and for the vineyards, taught me a concept that is also intrinsic to me and that implies not only respect for nature but above all for the human beings within it. He expresses this concept very effectively and concisely: an organic-ethical approach to work, a perfect synthesis of what we want to be in relation to the land and the people who work with us.
