Questo fiume nasce dalle colline metallifere di Sassetta, attraversa il territorio bolgherese arricchendolo di detriti alluvionali prima di arrivare al mare. Il contributo del Petit Verdot, conferisce al vino un colore profondo, profumi fruttati, floreali e speziati, tannini intensi ma lisci e setosi. Sono passati quattro anni da quando abbiamo iniziato a produre Il Seggio: un vino che nasce vincente, dotato di una tale piacevolezza e personalità che ha da subito conquistato la critica nazionale e internazionale! Solo di qualche giorno fa, la notizia che l’annata 2017 ha meritato la Medaglia d’oro al prestigioso Decanter World Wine Awards 2020. In cantina gli stagisti stanno seguendo le istruzioni di Lorenzo. Il suo notevole apporto tannico la rende utilissima per conferire ulteriore struttura ai vini ottenuti da altri vitigni quali Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc e Merlot. Il Petit Verdot si caratterizza per maturazione tardiva, offre ottimi risultati in zone a clima caldo, soleggiate, ventilate e con scarse precipitazioni durante la fase vegetativa.
